IFLA’s Honours and Awards serve to recognise the achievements of members of the profession who have made outstanding contributions, in particular to the work of IFLA itself.

Nominations for these awards need, in most cases, to come from representatives of IFLA Members and Affiliates, giving them a key role in ensuring that colleagues who deserve recognition receive it.
