ISBD Content Update Task Force 

The Content Update Task Force was established by the ISBD Review Group in 2019, and charged with the mission to update the content of the ISBD Consolidated Edition 2011 to fulfil the urgent needs of the ISBD communities of users.

ISBD for Manifestation Task Force

The ISBD for Manifestation Task Force was established by the ISBD Review Group in 2019, and charged with the mission to align the ISBD with the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM) at the Manifestation Entity level, as a first step to provide a full implementation of the LRM.   

ISBD for Manifestation (ISBDM)

The ISBD for Manifestation Task Force can now present a first draft of the ISBDM. This draft will be the basis for a review process, which will be a step-by-step procedure.

The ISBD Linked Data Study Group was established to promote interoperability and foster the reuse/retrieval of bibliographic data in the Semantic Web.

Previous Projects

Study Group on an Examples Supplement

The Study Group on an Examples Supplement was set up by the ISBD Review Group in 2006to prepare a publication as a supplement to the ISBD with full examples in multiple languages, to assist in applying the ISBD.

Material Designations Study Group

The Material Designations Study Group was appointed by the ISBD Review Group to investigate use of multiple general material designations (GMDs).
