Knowledge Café
The past years, CPDWL together with the Knowledge Management Section organized a Knowledge Café at the annual WLIC. A major subject with table topics will be set. At each table, we have a moderator and rapporteur. Participants are free to join at least two different tables. See our Knowledge Café page.
Infodemic Management & Health Misinformation
According to WHO, “an infodemic is too much information including false or misleading information in digital and physical environments during a disease outbreak”. Yet, the term was not born with COVID-19, and also refers to information management in times of crisis.
The theme is important and current, and it is especially hot for professionals in charge of information management and organisation as librarians are. The recent pandemic showed that disinformation can kill and that an excess of information has the same effect as disinformation.
