Topic: Preservation and Management of Documentary Cultural Heritage

This year, the IFLA Preservation and Conservation Strategic Programme (PAC) is looking at the preservation and management of documentary cultural heritage.  An exciting group of presenters will be discussing the subject in three different languages. The session has Simultaneous Interpretation and translation devices will be provided in front of the room.

The presentations include: a discussion on the recent flooding in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), the preservation of audio-visual material in Chile, new standards in preventive conversation management and an in-depth look at emerging professional identities (e.g. digital curators) inside the BnF.
